Native American Pastoral Care & Spiritual Companioning | Onsite, Beginning August 27, 2026
Integrating living personal and professional experience, this course will offer a way of pastoral care and spiritual companioning with an examination of family systems theory and its usefulness in understanding and leading Christian ministry in individual, congregational, and communal settings.
Rev. Dr. Andy Stoker
Andy Stoker is Director of Advocacy at FaithWorks. A United Methodist minister, Andy served most recently as Senior Pastor at Central United Methodist Church in Albuquerque. He previously served churches in Texas, including nine years as Senior Minister at First United Methodist Church in Dallas. Andy is a graduate of Perkins School of Theology at SMU and holds a PhD in Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University. He and his spouse, Megan, have two adult children, Alex and Wesley.
